I'm genuinely confused about how old Mahiro is supposed to be. As a boy he was apparently old enough to buy pornographic material, yet as a girl she is treated as though she is currently in middle school? Did the drugs(magic) somehow lower Mahiro's age or something as well?

she lied about her age in chapter 4, when she was playing the MMORPG; she claimed that she was in middle school. This latest chapter seems to have debunked that somewhat, but I still don't get exactly why she is pretending to be younger than she is. Just because she is short and petite now doesn't mean she is an actual kid.

They were always available as printed doujins, but Pixiv only does domestic shipping, so you would have to use a forwarding service. Vols 1-3 are up on their BOOTH now though for 400yen each. (Chs 1-9 I believe). For anyone that likes the series and wants to support the author.

@Rozoro Yes, Mahiro is now ~13 years old as Mahiro-chan. Originally he was like 20-21-ish ronin. (Failed college entrance exams and loafing around home is established right away)
I thought it was pretty obvious Mahiro was now way younger. The dialogue makes it obvious in Japanese, at least. I haven't read the English version here to compare I suppose.
