I don't quite think you understand my point or I've not explained it well, I am prepared and have to suspend my disbelief for the drug to work and exist as the basic premise of the series and then by extension the other drugs; have to accept some element of unreality for pretty much any and every series, especially GB series, it's the suspension of disbelief. Everything then stays within relatively grounded rules with nothing too extreme or out there after that. Mihari learning to code, coding a robot with some AI or integrating one onto it, then building a robot all in one evening goes beyond the established norms and rules, it is jumping the shark. The drug also made Mahiro 12 at the start of the series.

9-10 years old? Isn't Mahiro attending middle school, third year even - wouldn't that mean more like 13-14? . . . yes, had to double check and re-read a bit (kept it to only a few chapters!) - definitely middle school, so yeah, 13-14.

I do get your point, but at the same time I think the limits on suspending disbelief are quite personal - I'm a coder/devop/sysadmin type, I always struggle when I see movies/etc trying to portray stuff like that; on the other hand, everything I know about police procedures comes from TV, so I don't bat an eyelid about most of the shit they get away with (unless it gets too egregiously ridiculous). Combine that with the fact that each person's reading of the background and setting will be different, as will how much the internal consistency of the setting matters to them . . . And, of course, whether or not any particular thing counts as "jumping the shark" is just as subjective (and is also something that can only really be judged in hindsight). . .

All of which boils down to something like "yeah, but that's just, like, your opinion, man" . . . Or, being a bit less snarky, I think you're being maybe just a bit unreasonably harsh on this chapter. It's not a great chapter, honestly it's mostly just another chance to show how great Mihari is, alongside poking fun at her being a bit strange about her older brother, but it's mostly Just Another Onimai Chapter(tm). There's even a hint of toilet humour (even if it won't end up on the official list of pee-related chapters)!

But eh, everyone's got their own perspective on stuff, there's nothing wring with that leading to different opinions.

Mahiro refused to go to the toilet with everyone and suffered the consequences

Mihari and Mahiro swap bodies and Mihari doesn't want him using the bathroom. When they switched back, Mihari pissed herself and took blame for it so it will be listed under her.

For mahiro's late birthday present he got a anything you want ticket. After messing around with it, he mentions he needs the toilet, to which Asahi helps by going in his place. The chapter ends ambiguously, unclear if mahiro made it or not, so im going to assume he made it to the bathroom.

Ch39- Mahiro (A)
Ok actually whats with all of the piss these last couple of chapters! Mahiro fails to make it to the bathroom as she doesn't want to go andask the teacher during a school assembly, luckly Asahi shouts out that Mahiro needs the bathroom for her. Unfortunately, she pissed herself anyway. Also, Nayuta introduction, pog.

Ch 40.99- Asahi (B)
Another piss chapter... An illistration of her on the toilet struggling while saying "it won't come out". No im not kidding, check for yourself. Despite questionable cannoninity im counting it cause its a weird illustration.

Ch54- Momiji (A), Mahiro (A)
They both end up staying up late at the school and get jumpscared by Nayuta. The pee themselves out of fear

Ch66- Momiji (A)
12 chapters later huh, the author must have gotten bored with piss for a bit. Momiji goes through a haunted house during the school festival. She handled it ok until Asahi scared her.

Ch71- Asahi (B?)
Ah yes, the chapter in which mahiro makes CP (not cyberpunk). Anyway, in Japanese touching up is pronounced moru, this can also mean mol (unit of measurement) and peeing yourself. Asahi states "gotta go to the toilet". I am going to asume she went to the bathroom, however it is very vague.

Ch72- Mahiro(A)
He pissed himself. Thats all. Theres no in universe reason for it. The reason for this is so we can get a Nayuta (the goat) chapter.

Ch72.9-Mahiro (B)
2.9 chapters in a row... wow. Mahiro rushes to the bathroom as teach drags the class on.

Ch74- Mihari (B)
A power outage strikes and Mahiro runs to comfort Mihari, but she is on the toilet.
