I think that it's the more we get to know the characters, the more we know about their preferences.

Like we assumed Minato was cis het at the beginning, but they're leaning more trans or at the very least homo as we get to know them

Minato is for sure an otoko no ko but I think he's bi.

I think its more like an on/off switch situation with him, liking girls clothes and dressing as a girl isn't the same as being trans, it more like looking cute, like the character from blend S. Mentions he doesn't want to be a girl but likes dressing that way cause its cute.
