@havelmom everything went much worse when they started md@h, which was why there initially was a setting to disable it (which worked like a charm against that issue, until the setting was gone)
But yes, the issue is likely that your internet is shitty. Just not in bandwidth, but rather in which md@h server it gets assigned to (soo... location?). For that claim to not be true, 100% of those servers must have these problems with serving images.
