@1234muse the horse is a unicorn I believe she got it along with the fox during the event there wasn't anything that said you couldn't get more then one pet but I think MC was the only one that did get more then one it was how they earned the title foster mother

The battle was much better this time. In previous ones we could barely discern the enemy and its attacks.
I guess the author is improving. We are also seeing the skills he took so far coming together in an inventive way. Hopefully this is the positive turning point for the manga.

@Tych nah, actual tamers like the Elf Glutton have more pets, mc got the nickname of the Foster Mother from taking care of other players' pets, all pets are friendly with her.

Whenever I see attack names like Sewing Arrow (and the previous translation, Embroidery by an Arrow) I always wonder, is that actually supposed to be Needle Shot, or something? I feel like it's being translated too literally.

@Brightamethyst the first few times (s)he used it, it looked like several arrows were nailing the monster to the ground, so it kind of made sense, but you're right, that it doesn't sound correct.

@1234muse they are both from the pet event, unicorn was the first one he found and the fox had a cursed item on it and mc saved the fox before it was too late.

In the web novel translation, it was stitching arrow. To my mind, I pictured a line of arrows.

I don't speak or read Japanese either but I do have experience translating from other languages. Best guess is that Sewing Arrow, etc is a a technically correct literal translation. That's not how you'd say it in English though and it sounds somewhat off. In cases like this you're generally better off localizing things like attack names rather than trying to translate them directly.
