As for the tournament in general, I think they are going to be disqualified by some bs reason. (Probably something to go with the team is not with a man or something based on how this story has been treating things.)

Nice chapter, good writing of how the healer used a clever loophole to hide her real identity and get the team level down a bit. Also glad the entire story does not revolve around Raian since they have another big bad to contend with after they defeat his team.

Considering that they need to lose either this or the solo battle to allow Tanya to fight the leader duel, I would prefer they win this and have Laplace throw the next fight. It would be a downer to have Nadine lose just as she declared she'll give her all in the fight. She killed Arisa's parents for her job, but she's also regretting and atoning for it by acting as her guardian. The least she could do is protect the girl's smile by winning.

Also, I cannot take her "assassin" outfit seriously. Nothing screams female assassin like a vulgar "outfit" made of a bunch of belts amirite The sexism has become far too ingrained in the system, and I feel like it's Maxwell behind it all.
