Laplace trolling the crowd is nice, it's also probably a good plot move for her not to show too much as well so she does not get the attention of the wizard who sealed her for 300 years as he is in the building with the princess.

Other than that this is simultaneously both the best and worst manga I have read all year lol.
I thought the fox lady sorcerer would be able to heal herself since her role was to heal the other magician in the 2 on 2 battle.
And also, for her to go from liking men to switching to women in an instant because "all man bad" is the overplayed reductive trope of this manga. Really weakened this chapter, hopefully they focus on the story of the girls without depending on demonizing all penises, after this.

I don't think they're demonizing all penises, but demonizing the society that teaches men to act with misogyny. While the men in the story have so far been arrogant jerks, it's because that's what they've been taught. The men are victims too.

Since the Mangaka is from Japan, the country is predominantly a patriarch society. So the author is basing it on that. Japan is a rigid nation and leans more towards right wing. So that sentiment currently exists in Japan.

Honestly at this point I just want the pay off of her beating the guy who kicked her and that's really it. The characters and super black and white. Men bad and women who like men are bad. Women who agree with MC are good and are gay.

Was it? I don't recall it ever being mentioned that fox lady could heal, she was just a sorceress like Tanya originally was (as her replacement).

Also, it comes off a little strangely, but I don't think this is her suddenly switching teams due to a little niceness, it's just that she never actually liked men and just saw them as a means to the end of living a decent life. When she's first introduced and is shown as being all flirty with Ryan, it's also mentioned she's looking "past" him, so her speech about how "happiness" is about settling down with a man + having a family was probably more just a facade about her real intentions (family as a stable life). I wouldn't be surprised if she was always into girls from the get-go.

It's certainly an overstated parody, but that's pretty common in comics. Like stan lee used to say "Why have two characters meet with a conversation when they could meet in a fist fight?" This story takes the negative experiences women have in patriarchy/misogyny and turns them up to 11. It's not a black/white women good/men bad, but a foil for the MC to challenge.

In reality thats mostly true, but in this story there has been little to no characterization like this. This manga would be a lot better if it did have some more nuance, though.

I never turn down more nuance! 14 chapters in there are still few male characters. Raian is pure jerk. Goliath immediately recognized that Venus and Tanya are at least as strong as he is, and he suspects Tanya is stronger. What I'm getting at is that hopefully, Goliath gives us more nuance, or Raian gets his ass kicked and learns something. Perhaps after the tournament a new character will get wise. Until then I'll just enjoy this as a revenge fantasy.

Actually, can next chapter (probably after .3 chapter) up 1 whole chapter instead splitting it? It's ok if it take a while to finish/upload it. But I think it's better than short chapter in short period of time. And as always thank you for the hard work for bringing up this series!

If i remember correctly, i don't think we will get any decent male characters in this story because this came from an annoyance from the author what going on in their own country. They probably could have done some revision, but i think it meant to be a power fantasy of destroying the patriarchy than a well thought out story.

But I think the author a little bit overboard. It is as if the author simplified the situation to black and white, which keeps the story simple, which may be bad or good depending on your point of view.
