The over exaggeration is the point people. They author isn’t trying to make it nuanced. It’s supposed to be on the nose, in your face.

And I took Katherine’s reaction to be more of a shedding of her facade than to be a sudden turn. And yeah, she’s a sorceress, not a healer, so no healing there.

Honestly, with a manga like this, while I wouldn't mind greater nuance and grey morality, this manga just has a certain absurd feel that I don't mind it not being there. Even from ch. 1 I've tempered my expectations accordingly and have been really enjoying this as a result.

I've gotten what I've wanted: just a bunch of sexy, strong, and capable women trying to navigate a comically misogynistic world (with some nice yuri on the side). That's good enough for me and I pray this manga doesn't find a way to lose sight of that.

If i remember correctly, i don't think we will get any decent male characters in this story because this came from an annoyance from the author what going on in their own country.
