If we go by cliches, she's essentially waiting to be married off to some high ranking nobleman to produce heirs for him. I'd love to see her actually join the party, but that's very unlikely. Katherine has a higher chance of joining before she does.

Considering their current society, where talented women are seen as just "showing off the merchandise" to attract a worthy interested husband, and keeping in mind that the royal family would be its main representative and guiding force (if Maxwell is really manipulating things, it is through them), that is an almost certainty.
