I just don't know why anyone would even entertain the idea that the DEMON KING is supposedly some sadsack "woe is me" guy. He could easily be lying out his ass about everything back in his kingdom/realm/whatever and there wouldn't be any way to tell. Him being nice could just be an act just to ingratiate himself with the populace. Also, he literally tried to abduct Liliana... what, a day ago? "Oh, but he signed a demonic contract! He can't hurt anyone!" And? What if he has subordinates hiding in the shadows waiting for him to drag someone to a secluded location? This motherfucker should be on surveillance 24/7.
