Heat is an underrated antagonist. Has anyone else seen Stray Dog? The Akira Kurosawa film noir from the golden age of Japanese cinema? The way the movie shows everyone wilted and sweaty is more tense than the barrel of a gun. Great movie, 10/10, must watch.

Damn, that's one I haven't seen. Aside from the samurai films, I've seen Ikiru, High and Low, and Dersu Uzala.

I’ve been everyone in this chapter at some point. The kid dragged along and trying to stay entertained (but out of the way), the adult who brought the kid but has something important to do (but keeps getting distracted), and the stressed out person who needs SOMETHING ELSE to think of than the problem at hand
