If she wearing far from ordinary clothing "gothic lolita clothes" doesn't count as attention seeking, im lost of word thinking what the actual attention seeking you'll imagine would be.
And also in later chapter, look how she did the complete opposite of her word & even the title, stepping up her game from "not some man dress up doll" to "seeking validation from my crush about how cute my clothings are"💀.
also the befitting analogy would be,
She act rude toward me after asking why she licking ice scream i like right in front of my faces?.
And yeah i hated stranded sheep, and i count her one of them. Not alpha nor unique and surely she aren't special, Just a lump of living flesh wrapped in a pile of cloth, nothing more than a hypocrite.
This might get long, lol.
Attention seeking imo would be if she's shouting at people or bumping into them on purpose or behaving obnoxious in disrupting ways like that.
Or carrying neon signs that say "look at me".
The only reason she got attention to begin with is because she was helping a girl who got harassed by the guy.
Wearing clothes is not attention seeking. Not wearing clothes probably would be.
You also seem to have a certain interpretation of the title and I understand the confusion with her actions but let me explain how I see it here:
She's
not someones' dress up doll and that's because she doesn't dress as she's told.
Yes, she's happy that her crush likes her clothes, but she doesn't dress like that
because of him.
She already dressed that way before meeting him.
I don't understand the sentence with the ice cream, so I don't know how to address that (but I guess it's in reply to my example).
I'll take it "stranded sheep" is someone going against the main stream. You're entitled to your opinion on that but I disagree with it.
I think the world would be a boring hell if everyone was the same.
Also it's not about being alpha, unique or special, it's simply a preference that doesn't harm anyone.
Like preferring to watch sports instead of playing it.
Or having your walls blue instead of some other colour.
Maybe you wouldn't wear things out of the ordinary if it isn't to catch attention, but not everyone thinks that way.
