All jokes aside I respect this young man for not immediately cucking and forgiving his mom and her vamp fling. It takes bravery to hold a grudge

Ending is somewhat lackluster compared to the build up imo. Not enough resolution between Mari and the dude.

The first is pretty cute romance but then too much drama as it is often the case. I liked the idea of how the "real" vampires also end up being weak against the sun, that was a really cool idea to throw and a good reason for them not to want to drink human blood (tho it doesn't make sense that they start feeling less cold but fear the sun, do they also start fearing crosses and stuff?).
