I'm slowly losing interest cause of this hacker plot ngl, like more and more that they fuck around and I'm just becoming annoyed and disgusted. From what I gather it seems to be a hacker that's just..... fucked in the head, a greedy director that wants to make money to the point of seeing payments to employees as lose of income to an extreme degree, and the original creator ghosted these people cause he didn't want his baby being used to fuel another's greed and gluttony. So now the company that technically owns the product cause it was designed in their company is left with a bunch of scraps and have to cobble things together, or at least think they are when in reality it's mostly the ai doing it and the hummies bumblefucking around as they run around like headless chickens following the bosses orders but not understanding fully of what they are actually doing with the tech and data left behind. The only one with a semblance of knowhow is the thot yandere hacker who has her own agenda, and uses her knowledge in ways that works for her so she doesn't help as much in development and instead hack the game cause idk she's craving more of people like MC?
And finally we have the ai which honestly I think if left alone could create the entire game themself under the orders of whatever their creator made, but cause of the corp's greed they eventually pierced into her programming and drained the game for all it's worth over years like a sychophant.... or at least that's the old timeline that I roughly remember, idk how much of that is right, and honestly I don't want to reread the work, my brain's melted enough trying to make this comment funny as I tried to explained things that I saw
