It's probably a 99% certain bet the author of this story is a school bullying victim himself. Technically I suppose any random author could try to write an edgelord wish fulfillment isekai story, while trying to imagine what the audience wants to read, but there's probably a limit to how far an average person can bend their thoughts. This ought to be beyond that limit. This is so blatant and thick. In fact this is as bad as the movies Steven Seagal wrote for himself.

Yeah wow, these are some of the most unrealistic characters I've seen in an isekai manga lol. They're willing to just go and slaughter a group of people they know nothing about because a stranger told them that they're cannibal barbarians? The king didn't even try to fake some evidence about the demons or anything. Even in the real world people need years of propaganda before they'd fall for that shit. Only way these schoolkids acting like fucking maniacs right off the bat could make sense would be if they were pulled from an insane asylum for violent offenders or something, lmao.

Agreed with Kaarme, this writer must have some deep issues with bullying and maybe humans in general. I wouldn't normally judge an author based on the content of their work, but you'd have to have a pretty twisted perception to think the way the characters act here is reasonable. Like damn, they just went from living in the real world and apparently being emotionally functional enough to be in school, to cutting down some children with zero remorse without a shred of evidence that they're evil in like a day or two.

Gotta drop this manga now.

You guys are out here clapping kids and have the audacity to ask "how many more people are you gonna hurt until you're satisfied"

YOU REALLY SAID THAT RIGHT AFTER KILLING CHILDREN WHO HAD NO WAY OF DEFENDING THEMSELVES

That "hero" title just gets thrown around like a baseball

The least they can do is make the bad guys at least believable with a consistent moral compass to at least make the viewers contemplate and can't 100% fault the bad guys for being what they are. Nope, that's too much work.

Between the refugees acting like they just escaped the war a few days ago, and the bandits out in the middle of nowhere already knowing about a bounty on the MC's head, I'm firmly convinced that the mangaka either has no sense of time, or just doesn't care.

As for the "heroes" killing the kids, that part's actually believable. Most people will go along with the crowd, or at least the loudest voices driving the crowd. It's just easier that way; thinking for yourself is hard. This way they can justify to themselves that they were just following orders, or that they didn't have a choice in the matter. Also, don't forget that to varying degrees this is the OP isekai fantasy that most of them have been dreaming about. The chance to attack something nonhuman with their new powers, and do so with little risk nor effort, is something that most of them would jump at.

Now, saying that the dragon-girl isn't a demon because she has horns, that's just dumb..
