The sad fate of harem LN ending.
You either get a vague harem end or pick one of the heroin and everyone shits on it because their waifu didn't win for series like this. A good harem ends are really difficult to achieve, except for some few exceptions out there so I'm not really blaming the author.

Honestly I like Karen & Miyuki the most but I knew it wouldn't happen from the start. A shame the manga shared the fate of LN, I think with LN author permission Risumai sensei can make an alternate ending but the fan just butchered that possibility.

ending, none of the girl could’ve been actual contenders, considering only 4 out of the 5 other main girls like the MC, with 2 of them not having enough screen time, 1 is a free jail time and the last is just there to provide some sort of mild rivalry. If it does an 180 and goes toward a Harem ending now, some of you would find something wrong with it anyways. I’m fine with the ending, the plot has always make her the obvious choice.

Nope, it never drifted towards LN ending, it was it's own thing, and now they fuck it up. And the plot makes it only obvious as the typical 1000 times already used "first girl to meet to end with up" trope.

@Istvan90623 There's no perfect ending for Harem themed manga, either way the readers will get mad. Even TWGOK with an unpredictable end girl win got LOTS of hate out of it. And no, it was NOT its own thing, the plot is going well alongside the LN's route, that's what we got from reading both the raw and the LN itself.

People know the LN ending and they didn't like it.
Manga could have gone another route to shake it up but it didn't thus killing any expectations for change (from the meh ending Aika end was).
So it dug it's own grave.

I want to know if the mangaka is working on something else in the future.

Last arc was awfully written, the Chihiro end IMO was there to distract the reader's attention and it worked.
