@ajddavid452 Akira's chest hurts because that's what happens when breasts are growing. It feels like having a constant bruise around the nipple and chest area. After they're mostly done developing the pain stops.

@Nakewameke - Must be keeping it JUST long enough to avoid being teased. It's rather contradictory, because she still considers herself a boy, but then she doesn't want to be teased for "looking like a boy."

@ChristineGuinn she doesn't want them to find out she was a boy because she's afraid everybody's gonna hate her again, which was the reason she left her old school in the first place.

@kurisu - How would the kids at her new school find out she was a boy? She IS a girl now , and they've always known her as a girl? Is she still using "ore" instead of "watashi" in the dialog? (Since it doesn't translate, unless you mention it in notes.)

Seems like there's a little bit of insecurity there. Wanting to go back to being a boy, but not wanting to be thought of as a boy either.

Edit: And she does use "ore" a lot, at least in her thoughts.

Ahh, gender bender is supposed to be fun and hilarious seeing them trying to cope with the new stuff and unintentionally enjoying themselves sometimes too.
But this is full on depressing! He was just too young when he turned, but not young enough that it would not effect his life, that's probably the problem here. Maybe if he was a lot older when it happened, it would've turned out like those other comedy gender benders...?
