I was in an identical situation when I was about the same age and said the same thing about getting a lawyer involved. I even tried to phone the police from the school, but the teachers (physically restrained me) wouldn't let me. The incident was eventually swept under the rug, as my parents didn't believe me either.

I've learned that in this world, you're guilty until proven innocent, and even if all evidence proves your innocence, you're still guilty unless you have the right friends.

In the novel, Yukito mentioned he thought about talking to a lawyer after talking with his aunt
