I heard the outline. When I say "Justification", I don't mean "reasons", I mean that the response make logical sense. For example, "My son's never had a girlfriend. I should become his girlfriend" is porn logic. We accept it as a "reason" in its own context, but nobody would say that the response is "Justified", because frankly, it's pretty dumb and out of left field.

Same thing here. There's a reason for what goes on, but no justification.

Reason is WHY something happened. Justification is why it is CORRECT or DEFENSIBLE (justice) that something happened.

If a person is killed by blue-sky lightning (aka a bolt from the blue) then there is neither (human) reason nor justification. If a person kills another because he is mad then there is reason but no justification. If a person kills another in self defense then there is both reason and justification.

Also like, in some things I can relate to him, so I always had a soft spot for his insanity. Like sister trying to 86 him? Yeah my sister tried poisoning me and stabbing me with a knife multiple times. Parental neglect? Yep. And I think that's why I've always had a soft spot. Cause it's like "I know exactly how those things feel"
And I kind of wanted to see if he would actually graduate highschool and just disappear from their lives. But the story turned into "the wacky adventures of kokone yukito" and you just kind of go along for the ride

So I tried reading the LN because this seemed like the perfect guilty read. And honestly my main takeaway is that this isn't really as trash as you'd think. You have to first accept that the MC is sort of cursed. Like, cursed by the author, sort of the reverse of plot armour. As a sort of inherent receptacle to misfortune and tragedy, the people around him and he himself are also conceptually screwed up, which makes everything even more of a trainwreck
