ngl the politician sort of had it coming with the way he worded his thoughts.

Considering that his position, he can't really voice out his words as plainly as most people so I'm guessing the headmaster took it the wrong way and thought the politician guy wanted Yukito gone.

All in all it falls upon the fault of the daughter of Toujou for causing such a scene because of her own speculations rather than facts. Cause why speak to the person you look up to when you can use daddy's power to strongarm anyone.

also ZAMN, ZANI IS SERVING IN THAT OUTFIT JUST DHSJDJDKANFRIDR

This manga is just moments after moments of self-validation by proxy for those who needed it and schadenfreude for those who revel from it. It's never been anything but.

So that's frankly all I've learned to expect out of this, and it keeps delivering, so I can't even be bothered by the ridiculousness because my ego gets the stroking it wants lol

just to get this straight: Someone questioned him as appropiate and the Teachers thought that it would be a good idea to suspend him because of that?

God Forbid, there is literally no Adult in this Manga with a hint of an Brain.

All this just feels like overturning the conviction of someone after they’ve already served decades in prison. It makes the people who fucked up feel better but it doesn’t turn back time for the guy who suffered for years.

It does a lot more good for the persecutors than the victim. MC doesn’t want any of this shit, they just want to be left alone.

All of these people have proven themselves to be untrustworthy, incompetent, and/or malicious. These are the people who cast him to hell without any hesitation or remorse.

He was so broken that he very nearly killed himself ffs. In what world would he want anything to do with the people who caused his trauma?

Their apology or “making it right” are meaningless, let alone the super bizarre shit where they’re all trying to fuck him.

It would help him more if they all held hands and jumped off a skyscraper.
Saying sorry doesn't magical fix everything but that's the first step to start the addements

Dunno how a lot of people who reads this either don't know what happened to previous chapters or don't remember the characters that already has been introduced. I think maybe they're only here waiting for the mc to stay miserable by abandoning everyone instead of seeing all of them have their redemption.
sometimes when the plot gets too convoluted and author keeps bringing characters out of nowhere, this tend to happen

who said anything about altruism?
They're still working to help him. Their motivations aside, they're trying to do right by the MC.

People, fictional or real, that actually learn and grow and change to be a little better than before are the type of people we actually need in the world.
Acting like because they fucked up once, they can never earn their way back in no matter how much they do to improve themselves and the world around them after the fact, is reductive and small-minded and how you end up with people who continue to be shitty and bad, because "I'll never be given a second chance, so why bother?"

No one is infallible. Those who seek to rise above their previous selves and be better people, whatever their reasoning or impetus, should at least be recognized in that light.

I'm not saying they're good people. Just that they're making the effort for someone they care about, and are trying to do right by the MC because he is worth that effort. Better late than never.

Didn't screw up just ONCE, did they? Glasses sensei has allowed MC to get screwed over REPEATEDLY. Can't believe you're defending these people for acting AFTER allowing him to get shafted again. smh

@asphyxiav2 Just going to say, the page with Goddess-senpai needs a minor fix.

The "I" in her dialogue is on top of the text bubble border, so not really noticeable unless zoomed in.

Sure, people are allowed to try and improve, and they should. However, as the saying goes “that is that, and this is this”.

These people are free to learn from their mistakes but they have no right to expect to be part of the MCs life just because they’ve turned a corner.

Shitty people being able to evolve into less shitty people does not make them deserving of being unilaterally forgiven. If a rapist reforms what do their victims get from that change? Absolutely nothing. The damage they’ve inflicted hasn’t changed at all.

You may say that it’s an extreme example but remember objectively what his life has been like:

The MC had no place of safety or warmth. Not at school, not at home. No friends, a negligent and openly hostile family, no teachers or authority figures he could trust let alone rely on. The people he cared about the most were the same people who betrayed him and hurt him the most.

Whenever they found a pocket of solace, be it a person or a club, it was cruelly taken away. This happened over and over.

He was assaulted, vilified, abused, and told repeatedly that he should disappear or kill himself. His life was so bad that he actually attempted to follow through with his tormentors wishes. He had decided that it was better to not continue living if it was going to stay like this.

Also remember he was not a mature adult dealing with all of this. He was just a young child when this began and it’s lasted for years.

For those who haven't read the LN, this is one of the best arcs of all. The ending is very satisfiyng.

the lady next door (the one that called her brother) is acctualy the grandaughter of the minister of education, and her family members are all national level politicians. Imagine a city representative getting a call from multiple senators.
