It's basically Survivor, but cranked up to 11 (more people, different world instead of an island, web streamed instead of weekly TV broadcast). The concept may sound dumb (I thought it was when I first heard about it), but apparently it's been very successful. Never underestimate people's desire for voyeurism and gossip.

I remember reading a novel of this.
According to my memory it was an edgy-wannabe story that looked good at first but failed miserably later due to how repetitively the authors screams at you that ‘mc is miserable’ pretty much hated it
But could have been? Or probably liked it if they mentioned the livechat at first (obviously for mc’s character development) then never mentions it again because i hates everyone that lives in Earth including his lil’ sisters

Update. I've read the whole WN. I liked it quite a bit save for one major aspect.

Spoiler: CON

The harem. Look im real good with the exploration of an MC with PTSD. But the author drops in multiple women who love him. Which bugs me. His two sisters are super geniuses that also happen to be brocons. And the one other male support role who has minimal appearances ends up leaving the city to go on a different adventure. Like bruh. Romanctic Love isn't the only thing that helps. Homies do too. Wish the author explored friendships more.

Otherwise I did find the MCs journey to be cathartic. Also the forum post sections were well done.

Hey y'all. I went to find a translation of the novel after hearing that the comic doesn't go that far. TL is a little awkward at first, but finds a smoother flow after 30ish chapters.

there was a tragic twist which served as a decent hook.
so far its been goin downhill for me

Pros:
-fairly decent 1st chapter
-Tragic MC that uses Darkness themed abilities
-its less cringe about the livestream concept imo

Cons:
-before he was told to ice himself, he seemed pretty happy transferring to another world right after he was murdered
-when characters are agasp the top of their mouths tend to be drown with an upside down "V" (example: chapter 1 God's introduction, when it says "that time has come")
-More zoomer bait, God decided to send 1k people to another world and livestream it to people... As if [insert webtoon w/ gamer backseater/ constellation reactions] wasn't bad enough
-Despite being a trauma patient thats constantly bullied by viewers (people even jeering, hoping to watch him get seduced by a harlot)... Man quickly becomes a powerless, weak knee'd, mess in front of [insert main girl] he only knew for 30 minutes at best, even kissing her on the cheek "brushing off" her advances after spending a week evading her stalking.
-While its interesting that he got framed for a crime and is persecuted by the entirety of the internet, he gets a get out of jail free card... because his sisters are super talented multilingual goddesses
//basically its treated like a shit excuse for the MC to be a debbie downer and hide in darkness
-And the Cons above basically ruin whats decent about its initial presentation
-Plus said cons just have me asking, why didnt he take a wooden stick and draw in some sand, the name of his childhood friend's killer?
