Yeah, I know. But that is in visual novels, there you can just go back to a previous save file (if you are not stupid enough to have only one save file when is a game with a lot of options) or at worse, you can just restart the game and correct your mistakes in the way.

But here is different. In visual novels, choices dictate all of your actions, even if there are different routes, each one is linear in their own way.

But like I said, is different here. Even if there are choices and this is like a game, what he does before and after the choice is not linear like in a visual novel. He doesn't have to be forced to make a choice, but because he saved just before the choices are given, he is now stuck on this situation.

I believe he only has one save file (and if he has more than one, he is fucking stupid for always saving on the same one), so he has to play smarter. Save during the days when nothing is really happening, or on a period of time like every other day.
