Not like she hasn't. She already fessed up long ago, chapter 14, that she fell for him after watching over him for so long. They already slept together, and Sakura defines the house expansions as her children.

Not to mention, she's taking it straight to the face in that last panel. At this point either her resistance, her mana attunement, her own mana reserves, or even all of the above, has/have to have leveled tf up.

I don't even know what the intended direction of this series is anymore lmao. It first started as what was basically an ecchi that was two steps away from becoming erotica, but now there's only about one or two true fan service moments each volume. Maybe the publisher realized that they had to draw the line somewhere when a manga was being known for it's golden showers 😂

Thank you for the chapter! Interesting to not that the reason they couldn't beat the dragon wasn't because it was too strong or they weren't strong enough, just that they couldn't really land a good hit. So overwhelming power isn't necessarily the answer here. Nah, who am I kidding? Overwhelming power wasn't the answer for the dragon kings, but for Daichi that's the answer to questions he didn't even ask.

It's really nice that Manaryl finally found a place where she can fully express herself. On the other, this chapter also shows that Dianeia is probably already one of the strongest humans (if not the strongest) in her era given that she no longer pisses herself when she's around Daichi and Sakura, and she also just enjoys songs from a dragon, songs which might make someone's blood literally boil.

I mean in non-ambiguous ways that make him, dense motherfucker that he is, actually acknowledge that she has romantic feelings for him, and not just "house spirit that thinks fondly of him because of the bond he has with the house" feelings. Remember also from ch. 13 that he did it with her because she was fainting from a lack of magical power, and said that she needed her libido satisfied to get magic power back. While it almost looks like he understands that she loves him in ch. 14 when she says she's been thinking about him since even before they transitioned to this world, from when he was just a child ("I've been thinking about you since you were born, and now we're here"), and he says that, "For my entire life, all I've only ever seen you as just a house, but now, all I can see is you, Sakura", he's really just talking about seeing her as a person, not just a manifestation of the house. Obviously they're very close, but they don't take that final step to romantic union, which is what I was talking about.

As for the "the house expansions as her children", she was saying that as a joke, and explained in the very next panel that it's just that she recieved an excess of magic power from him and it turned into an extension for the house. Continuing on to ch. 15 we see further that they don't do anything romantic or intimate (depending on your definition of intimate, anyways); they just stay relatively close together (since he feels most comfortable in his house and she is the house spirit, so it's natural) and sleep next to each other, and doing so keeps releasing his magic power, so she continues to grow the house (which is why there's been such an expansion beyond just the one floor). They haven't done anything else since then.

Like I said, they are still close, but they haven't taken that step further into romance; there's still a level of standoffish separation between the two of them, since those early chapters, especially as 'new potential waifus' keep getting introduced. And if they kept going at it but the author didn't show it, the house would have turned into a massive metroplex by now, considering what happens just by being near him after she absorbs some of his magic power.
