I know I translated it as Ratri in the last chapter, but I am translating the next chapter and it is coming out as Latori instead. I remember that there is some confusion in translating Japanese ---> English with "ra" and "la" getting mixed up with each other and I just rechecked the first two chapters and found no mention of her name at all so I thought I would ask here.

If this is the first actual mention of her name and it ends up for me to decide, than personally I like Latori better (Ratri just makes me think of rats in general).

So, does anyone know if her name has already been established or not?

Actually no, this is the first I have heard of it. Guess I have some editing to do.

According to Wikipedia:
Ratri, is a Vedic goddess in Hinduism. She is the personification of the night. […] Together with Ushas, she is referred to as a powerful mother and strengthener of vital power. […] Her physical appearance isn't explicitly mentioned, but she is described as a beautiful maiden.

This description indeed seems to fit her. So her name is probably really referring to this deity.

I wonder what happened to the other girl... though if it was going to "take time to get her ready" I presume that means she's with someone else, so probably better to pass on her for the night imo. Ratri is an actual feminine name (still used today) based on the Vedic goddess. Seeing that the character was shown with darker shade of skin, imho this name makes more sense.
