Guess he is the protag now huh
Since it's a game mechanic, i assume it's just costs some HP each time you hit with itHow does the sword's life force consuming mechanic work tho?
There doesn't seem to be any changes in his complexion.
I think you mean convicted to the publicI think it did get mentioned way earlier in the novel.
Killing him won't undo the extensive damage he's done to the continent itself. He needs to be convinced, and Harold is in the unique position of having Speech -100.
I don't know if you're making a joke, but no, there was no typo.I think you mean convicted to the public
I mean, tbf if you played a JRPG sometimes they go on this epic quest to find something....and other times it's literally just given to them with no fanfare.you're telling me they just casually wonder upon all the knowledge of creation in the story? you would think that's like a significant plot detail that could be used to stop the final boss but alright I guess
Yeah. She's also an actual child, and more-or-less conceited due to being way smarter-than-average, so I'd say her attitude is on the better side compared to other similar anime/manga examples.Damn you guys hate her huh? I actually like her quite a bit. She’s just the spunky female JRPG party member. So far she hasn’t really done anything that’s out of character for someone who doesn’t literally have spy-levels of intel on Harold.
All these years and Mihama Chiyo is still the best child genius in anime. Adorable, smart and yet still humble.Yeah. She's also an actual child, and more-or-less conceited due to being way smarter-than-average, so I'd say her attitude is on the better side compared to other similar anime/manga examples.
I wish they wouldn't do this. If you give the side/villain character all the stuff to instead make them the protag, the whole point of their story kinda goes to waste. Strong villains and side characters usually get that way without relying on plot armor blessed to the protag and as such makes their stories more interesting.Guess he is the protag now huh

Well obviously it is fate. Fate goes by the name Izumi in this story however.I forgot about the meta aspect, his decision making makes more sense with that being bought up. I wonder what the original trail of events was in the game, I can't help but feel that Justus' influence is what pushed him to have to serve him. That and taking himself off the board for a bit to keep the main villain in check and a bit more space for the protags to develop.
It would be nice to see them to then confirm it was worth it to some extent, I wonder the extent to which fate will try to push him to meeting his demise as that time gets closer too. Him being setup as a villain so successfully just before his trial might be tied to fate trying to force him back on his path if that is an aspect of the story.
Thanks for the translation, looking forward to more.
