Really? I think that makes the most sense. She has access to the most data of anyone. She sees the problem of declining work force, the abuse the men face. Her business is directly suffering because its not sustainable. She realized that the men lack the drive to live.

Her being on his side isn't that she cares more about men than women, she cares about her livelihood, about keeping society functioning. She is faced with the impracticality of the current system, and its harsh reality. She also probably has seen enough to realize that the men are not dumber, or inferior, they are just deprived of education and restricted, after all if her facilities handle the training she must realize that they start out the same as young girls. While its easier for the other women to deny whats being done, she is stuck as the one preforming the actions that they all pretend don't happen.

But also just like at IRL examples, look at the feminism movement. While there were plenty of women supporters, there have been a few very noteworthy men who stand out for all the wrong reasons. These men bankrolled the moment and pushed it into the news. But their goals were... well pure evil. There is a interview with one of the major funders who really got the movement off the ground, he talks about how the moment will allow slashing wages do to doubling the work force, how the cost of living will be split between both parents not just one lowering the needed wages to live on. How it will help get kids away from parents so the government controls their upbringing. To him the movement was not about helping anyone, it was about lining his pockets.
