On the other, you really had to craft a world where men are the ones who are oppressed by women just so that you could be the underdog when you molest them huh

A webnovel writer doesn't have the sauce to do this. They don't have the gumption, the audacity. They merely adopted the goon, but mangaka were born in it, molded by it.

To be serious though I think there's a connection between being an artist and having a bit more "nuanced" sexual tastes that might not exist in the same way for writers.
