Cool art, premise is alright. Really depends on the mangaka. If we see a typical iseakia then any of the good points of the first chapter would be null. Really hope they have fun with this one and go for a rougher story that complements the art

like one version is a saint that rose from the dirt. another one is a demon king that children's of corrupt nobles run to.
a companion of the saint. a trickster god. rebel god who once lost his divinity and stole it back. the monkey king. the king of confusion.
@ShionVaynex the stories about the Monkey King are many, and highly variable. He resembles Coyote in Native American legends in that respect. But the identity remains the same. Literally. The Japanese spelling of "Son Goku" is identical to the Traditional Chinese spelling of "Sun Wukong". (They only differ modernly because of Simplified Chinese), so the difference is only in what language one is sourcing.
