@gaigous its a human thing; Theres even a lot of people who have surgeries to change themselves and have some episodes of trauma due to the changes because they lose sense of self and identity. Its just never really properly explained their motivations in isekai for being upset about that

@MistahMoose I understand the science behind half-assed attempts to change our bodies, but if you have someone use magic to avoid all the hiccups associated with such a thing, it just becomes some sentimental attachment to a sack of meat, besides, just look at Kawazu.

He could totally do something about it without making the country an enemy. Since Kawazu (1000 magic power) was the strongest and he has 8 million 1 thousand magic power, he could just completely seal their, as in all of the people involved, ability to summon people. It's neat, non-violent, and you can't really do anything about it except complain. Plus, it's not like they could say that he did something bad, he stopped them from sacrificing and enslaving people, unless the country loves that. Also if he isn't the demon king, he should meet the demon king. He's probably too strong for the demon king to do anything anyway so he could stop the demon king and get an new friend, win-win.

just take vanaria and move it in the middle of the ocean. if that doesn't work, make a gigantic ass hole in the ocean with walls so it doesn't get flooded, then put them at the very bottom of the hole
