I read chapter 40 in jap and honestly it looks like an axed ending

the guy goes in his house with all his friends and say "I’m home" as in like he finished an adventure and it’s the end.
There’s also a weird panel right before, looks like he teleported his house back to Earth or something, he was talking about how he still had many things he wanted to do in this world.

i'm glad this is ending. i was going to drop it this chapter, the art was bad to begin with but now its just horrendous and i dont even know what the story is about anymore
