They have barely if at all fleshed out the cast. The mage is an enigma, the catgirl is airheaded but we don't know anything beyond that, and the hero seems to be relatively serious; there is that brief glance between him and the priestess in 2.1 but like...I don't know, is that the look of someone in love? You really can't tell yet.
