would have preferred MC relying on himself for combat but then again he is pro AIThe Mech is called the Avid, and it becomes incredibly powerful.
They give it a battleship in its sub space that it can fuse with later. It can easily destroy whole fleets on its own without the ship equipped.
Later on Liam gets a Machine Heart, it tries to use it on Amagi but it doesn't work. So he uses it on Avid. Giving it a self regeneration ability and a mind of its own.
Failing upwards at it's finestwell that is what you can say a fake is more real than the real one, this scammer makes things better the more he tries to sabotage lol

thats what i was thinking. he didnt just become OP overnight or thanks to some bullshit reason. its also incremental. he isn't becoming powerful all at once. he definitely has talent but it's combined with hard work. smart of the author to add that quirk about longer lifespans. allowed him to have this kind of process to getting stronger.I can accept this kind of becoming strong. It took times, and involving efforts, despite he's being duped by a fake trainer.
