I never quite thought Liam would be so singularly dedicated to Amagi. The way I see it; Liam's biggest problem... is himself.
He is not an evil person. He was, in fact, a very nice guy. But was taken advantages of in his past life. So this time, he wants to be the evil one. He is not. He just wants to. Or at least he thinks he wants to. Because it would be fun I guess. He wants to have a harem, because he thinks it would be fun. And he would be evil controlling all those poor women. But his past life wouldn't let him trust those poor women anyway. So technically his harem would be like the elite of the elite; his most trusted ppl. He wants to take Rosetta by force, because only an evil man would do that. But, yeah, so here we are.

The best part is that Liam don't even care who he's picking a fight with, but by the magic misunderstanding/providence, every one of them are trash nobles that are taxing commoners to near-death, are in league with pirates, doing slavery or things like that.

To be fair, nobles are trash seems to be the norm, not the exception in that world, so target-rich environment and all that.

It's self-selection. Liam doesn't pick fights, he's doing his own thing until someone annoys him. He then goes all out against the annoyance and destroys them.

Reasonable nobles have no reason to pick a fight with Liam, who keeps to himself, develops his territory, and fights pirates for fun. He doesn't even participate in politics aside from being the patron of the 145th prince, a nobody who no one cares about. Only trash nobles see an upstart and try to put him in his place.

both women are trying to outcompete each other for liam to acknowledge who's the better knight.
