Odd ordering of events, it took me a while to realise how this connected to the first chapter, and I had to look at the first chapter to even know which comic this was - given how the last chapter ended, and how this one was going.

Not sure how to feel about this.
I'm getting too used to seeing Isekai stories speedrun the setup that now this feels a bit too slow, a bit too padded.

It's also probably because we got a bit of a reverse order. If the majority of the content of this chapter was in chapter 1, and the duel was in chapter 2, then it probably wouldn't feel so weird.

I mean what kind of setup is this? Chapter 2 and most of the chapter is a flashback to what was resolved in chapter 1? It feels like a weird pacing break to decelerate.

i believe they were already in distress about it being a B rank dungeon so... I doubt he has those kinds of knights...

it was a recount to what happened last chapter. Alot of mangas do this to get readers to first get hooked on the story, then expain it.

I'm currently reading the raws right now (so far 38 chapters or so) and I have to say this would be quite an interesting manga.
Wishing the TL team good luck and god speed, as there are a lot of text-heavy chapters ahead, especially when the game world mechanics are explained. And thanks for picking this up!

Well, we learned this chapter that there apparently is a party that's allowed to go into B-rank dungeons. Whether they're actually able to clear it is another matter entirely.
