This trope is extremely unbearable. I don’t understand why so many Japanese isekai writers even bother using it. A loser dies and gets transported to another world, only to have the audacity to tell others, "Your way of doing things is stupid and you should follow what I, a reincarnated cheater, do instead." They treat people from another world like stupid medieval monkeys while acting like some high-and-mighty know-it-all. Seriously, if this same MC got reincarnated on earth 1000 years ago, they wouldn’t be able to survive for a week LMAO. This trope of making people from another world weak and stupid compared to the arrogant MC just shows how lazy the author is at world building, while also making the MC an unlikable jerk. Realistically, another world should have some geniuses who possess abilities close to or on par with a reincarnator, and those geniuses should have already developed efficient ways of doing things. But noooo, there are only stupid monkeys here, so nothing is developed yet, and the MC is here to help/teach these stupid monkeys how to do things.
Another unbearable aspect of this trope is that the MC can do anything better than anyone just because they played some fucking video games. Playing a fighting game is not the same as real life fighting, LMAO. So after a couple of chapters, we learn that the MC played a fighting game for 10 years and is now better than the girl who actually practiced swordplay for 20 years with professional help. This is just so fucking stupid. Imagine Kobe Bryant playing basketball for 20 years, only to lose to a fucking loser who played NBA 2K14 for 10 years.
Easy ways to fix this garbage trope are:
1.Give the MC actual talents in something rather than making them overpowered just because they played some fucking video games.
2.Make the MC aware that they are a cheater and that their power is abnormal and without it they would be useless, so they should act humble even though they are overpowered.
3.Establish real world building and a power system to create an actual plot, instead of the story being about the MC doing whatever they want.
Just doing one of these things could easily make the manga readable, but the author is too lazy to do anything, so this is an instant drop for me. 2/10 rating, not 1 because of the art.
