This manga has been getting worse and worse ever since those 2 came. Starting with the fucking brother who has no respect for anyone and they're all still letting that slide. Dude, you're no one here, i don't care of you're nobility back there. And you were beaten by a regular martial artist, i want people to shoot you so you stop being all pedantic about how everyone's beneath you.


And then there's the stupid plot that we had already wrapped up the story but now it's all the (mind you SUPER ignored) plot of her having to choose if she's gonna go back to her world. And now they added the dumb American plot on top of that as if it wasn't a stupid idea to let her do that. Have you seen GATE? They're keeping her and never giving her back. You can't give up someone so important to other governments!!
And despite all of that we're getting distracted with festivals and the annoying kid who never grows up and is now throwing a tantrum 🙄

What the fuck is even going on? The tone is all over the place and no one acts like a human being. I swear this story was at least readable at one point in the distant past, now it's just weird overdramatic nonsensical bullshit with bad tries at comedy. You could do so much better with this concept, but it's devolved into a shitty sitcom. I do enjoy seeing a good trainwreck though.

Do think this is something I don't care about, sure, but it isn't like this wouldn't be unheard of. my issue is more he brings something up like Chris apparently would also be going back cause that scroll? Why bring that up and not elaborate?

Manga on hiatus starting this chapter, or are there a couple more chapters? I swear if that little shit actually ends up together with her I would not be surprised if the series gets canceled. I doubt all of us here are the only ones who hate this stupid turn of events. Instead of coddling him and agreeing to a date, it would have been better (and probably funnier) if he got the shit beat out of him. Maybe send him off with the shitty brother to train and man up, at least we wouldn't have had to see either one for a while.

And a brief search seems to show others agree. I'd love to know what the Japanese readers think of this chapter.

I don't understand, why are all the important plot points overshadowed by Heita being a cunt (and everyone somehow let him have his way), and Chris' brother being a cunt (and somehow it doesn't bother anyone).
I mean c'mon, I wish Louise, which is somewhat the most level-headed character left would smack some sense into him....
It's sad really, this manga has been amazing until the two other-worlders came, but it's still manages to get worse and worse. I know Heita is young and he needs to get some life lessons, but why is it the main focus now? And why aren't we seeing some sliver of character growth for Bar-san??
Smh I really don't wan to hate this but holyshit...
