hahaha, okay that. I get your point. I'm just trying to reason out why would people label her as a deserter. She's part of a military there's no logical conclusion for them to arrive at why she'd gone missing without traces. Specially, disappearing while people are waiting for their lives to be save. Maybe it's the burst of emotion, maybe there is a political reason. You can label her MIA all you want. It is a vague classification for somebody that may have been killed, wounded, captured, or deserted. Since they found no traces of her or news about being captured, then MIA -> deserted. That's the way i see it. Btw, sorry for my bad english. Peace!

she is the sister of the hero, daughter of a count and her whole unit should be wiped out in a battle en route to the capital so shouldnt she be MIA?
if she was alone well then dissappered messengers seem to be branded as deserters making messaging quite the dangerous job as deserter punishment usually extends to the family
