Yeah, because it wasn't said in older episode that chris lived in a medieval fantasy world, she didn't explain that she didn't care about the person who married her (he could be a old man) and more things saw in those older brother chapters.
I love the reading comprehension of some reader.

I wished that more authors would make their protagonists more mature, from a relationship point of view. Specifically, I wished they would stop having so many lead male characters who are so nervous or afraid about getting married or getting committed.

Yes, I get that getting married is a serious matter, not to be just thrown around. I also understand that protagonists are to some extent the reflection of the targeted audience. But, it's tiresome sometimes.

This is just my opinion, but I think it's really baller to - when thrown a curveball like "You've gotten yourself a wonderful wife" - reply with something like "Yes, I just need her to agree on the wedding date." I'm no silver-tongued mangaka, but, c'mon! Once in a while give us a lead that'll show us how it's done. Just own it, ya know.

Ah, ignore me. Old coot venting.

As a government agent that is a way better option for honami than a potential pandemic.
ANd they're still keeping her a secret. Japan is pretty homogeneous and the chance of a slip is not that great. Even if there is a slip, I'm pretty sure Chris and her surroundings are now under pretty heavy surveilance. Any suspicious actions would be promptly dealt with.

And if she had brought dangerous disesase with her from the other world, or with a colision bet worlds [which seems it will happen] happens, the circunstancies where she would been found and the way she would be dealt with would not end as well as it ended.

@TheBlueCat I do think a smooth operator protagonist would be interesting, but a lot of the time they swing too far and they just end up being down to seduce anything that moves or worse. Here at least his reluctance feels natural, in that she almost young enough to be his daughter and that seems a reasonable point of resistance.

Well, maybe not a 100% smooth operator, but enough to make you go, "Oh wow, you ladykiller" in one instance to "Bruh, WTF?" the next. Just enough so as to spice things up.

The key in good writing, I believe, is achieving balance. It's so easy to just get in the groove and move things along on auto-pilot. When this happens, the story becomes monotonous and uninteresting after a certain point. In my opinion, the writing process needs to be broken up frequently so the author doesn't dig a hole that's too deep for him to get out of.

This perhaps explain why I take so long to write anything, but... yeah. Let's not go there.

Anyhow, I do think a protagonist who is on the road towards maturity, with some weaknesses thrown in, is the best type. But then again, this is just an Old Coot Vent.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
