And I wonder what experience the mangaka has, with how they portray homesickness. Can't hear ppl, questions ones feelings thinking they might be excuses to distract oneself, cant sleep (well, at least that one is fairly common), and somehow its a shameful feeling you cant share?

@feha I think it isn't as much a shameful feeling but instead a fear of beeing seen as ungrateful. Everyone is trying their best to make her feel welcome, I could see how it is hard to tell them that she wants to go home despite their best efforts.

I think that hospital isolation stay had more lingering effects than even she first realized. Although, given recent world news, I hope people realize the realistic nature of such a quarantine and why it's necessary. Where they went wrong, however, was with the isolation of her with the constant testing without a care for her psychological well-being.

That said, even in the best circumstances you're going to miss home, friends and family.
