They're doing callbacks to Chapter 23 to explain Chris wanting to return home, even though it seemed like she got over her homesickness 3 chapters ago.
Then Honami shows up out of the blue, and we still don't know what's supposed to happen "tomorrow."

Like @jasty and @Kaiofficialone have said: "Fucking get on with it!" We've been awaiting the brother and Louise for 20 fucking chapters now. There's a goddamn reason the saying "Either shit or get off the pot" exists; and it's precisely for situations such as these. The cover page for this chapter had more plot progression than the other 18 pages of said chapter.

I imagine Chris's tolerance has gone down since Kanji treats her like a child even though she has probably has been drinking nearly as long as Kanji has and I imagine a lot more than him although weaker and less tasty stuff compared to modern liquors.

Still wondering when her friend and or brother are coming for a visit and when Kanji gonna take Chris on a date or you know court Chris

@Liduidxlax Yeah, somehow I can't seem to imagine either of these two ladies actually holding their liquor after insisting it's fine. Just one of those super common jokes. Honami in particular is probably a pretty annoying drunk.
