He’s a fucking psycho himself, if anything he’s just as messed up as she is, maybe even worse.
Nah, Yumezora is in a much deeper place than he is, with the history of violence and messed up moral compass she has as result of her sad childhood. Gomi is aware his fetish is extreme but he kept it to himself. When he began to steal Yumezora's bloody pads for his gratification, he did get worse, and he understand what he is doing is bad. Funnily enough, his fetish and his desire for the bloody pads went away as soon as he tasted sex. He worries about their less than ideal situation (Yumezora is fine cheating on her husband and keep the status quo with Gomi, while Gomi eventually wanted to have a normal relationship). He worries about Yumezora's situation with her husband (domestic abuse). And when he murdered the husband, he was willing to turn himself in. But Yumezora "dragged him down", instead of Gomi facing the consequence of his action, Yumezora suggested to escape and Gomi made the bad decision to go along with it.

Yumezora has been good on Gomi in the beginning, he kinda experienced a somewhat normal couple life and it must have boost his confidence. But now they're fleeing from their crime, the situation can only get worse, not only because they have to flee authorities, I'm not sure if Yumezora and Gomi will keep having a good relation between the both of them. I don't think they connected together in a deep way, a lot of it is just physical.

And as someone else pointed out, Yumezora did get impregnated after her husband forced himself on her. If the story showed that, it's likely to be relevant later, and considering the situation, it can only be used to make more strained between the couple.

This was some kind of a self defense accident - they could've got off relatively easy, but they made it much worse. Still, this is some of the best shit I've read.

I wonder if they'll even get through customs in Bali... If officials won't hold them for too much they may be "safe" there. Gomi's mind will break sooner or later, either from the guilt or from Yumezora. Damn i've been waiting in anticipation for every update from goddamn ch3.
I have no idea how you've found this or how you've managed to stay through the entire bloody pad thing, thanks TL crew.

Bali locals: yes we let foreign criminals and tax evaders live amongst us and exploit the cheap exchange rate and yes we love licking white people shoes yknow "yang penting ngk ngebom"
Book a flight to another country without visa or formal process for long term staying, what could go wrong?
visas? formal process? don't worry this is bali, even the Indonesian government can't control their travel regulations

Calling it rn this is just their first body. Also ik everyone is crazy but her grabbing a knife and stabbing her husband again while Gomi is jaded and repeating he’s turning himself in is really romantic in like a Tarantino way.
honestly, I would not be surprised if the author got inspired by Tarantino

At most MC would have been accused to excessive self defense so why are they running away :questionblob:
Especially when husbands abuse is well known in the building
@Nosebleed has it pretty solid, unlike the US many countries 'self defense' is a very weak defense. Though I think Gomi is being a little melodramatic, he probably wouldn't get more than 5-10 years depending on prosecutor/judge.

This is so sad, Moyupu saved her from the first guy who really abused her and died just like that
Manga authors really hate childhood friends being couples, g/d.

Well damn... they took turns stabbing the body. Little did they know forensic can tell those are dealt after the fact.
It won't work. Because Gomi strangled Moyupu. Strangling takes time and needs a lot of force. It can be easily proved as unnecessary force. Funny thing - additional stabbings won't work against them because criminologists can find the time of trauma appearing but not too precise.
SORT OF
Source: Cop friends.

Despite what CSI and other shows portray, unless there is reason to question the narrative that level of secondary forensic analysis is rarely done because it takes time and money. In this case the police would have a very clear suspect, motive and likely murder weapon.

If they find a dead body with a knife sticking out of his chest, in the US it is a toss up if they will try to determine if the stabbing was pre- or post-mortem (or I should say, unlikely to do with a body that fresh). Its is almost certain, unless some weird shit comes up, that they will not look hard enough at the stab wound to find the evidence of the other implements.
That said, IN THE US the ME would almost certainly flush the wound and small bits of glass would almost certainly come out and be cataloged, and that might raise some questions.

In a normal country, is stupid to run away. He was beaten and the guy was holding a shard of glass to stab him, so he could claim he was threatened with death and simply defended himself. Besides, he not only had the girl as a witness, but also the entire building, which was aware of the history of domestic violence. But considering that is in Japan, where pedophilia and rape are treated lightly and a man defend himself gets 15 years in prison, the decision makes sense.

They are both dumb, they legit had a case in their favor as far as the events in the room are concerned

They even had a concerned neighbor that can testify for their case and confirm that indeed the husband was being abusive which is something they lacked
