I'd say not. The third to last scene was about them fighting, then second to last was holding hands, but very last image looks like a flashback to the boat scene, put in to contrast "these hands that can seek a connection, can also seek to destroy" - a bit like the theme of the whole manga was about the narrow borders between love and hate.
