Mods were removing some loli content due to something something sexualizing minors is bad, mostly some hentai as far as I know, there was backlash over it in part cause they also deleted the series entry instead of just removing the chapters and they had to do damage control because of that

Don't think anybody knows for sure why they did it, if new mods being retarded or owners wanting it removed cause apparently now the site is registered as a business in UK

Also no clue if they continued to remove stuff in secret as it's how they originally did it before getting caught

Either way Mangadex has been going downhill for a while now so you better make a spreadsheet of your favorite series just in case :v

Fortunately it wasn't, though who knows how long they'll wait to try again the loli purge, Mangadex only gets worse :v
