I made an entire account just to criticize this wild shift into fetish content this manga made. I, like many others, are beyond disappointed in this shift.

The story is a generic romcom about a guy coming to love himself and those around him after being abused for years by his girlfriend.

It’s a very bland story with nothing to stick out about it. However there was nothing bad about it. It followed the typical beats you’d expect from this, one of those being hanabi repenting for her years of abuse.

However that beat took a sharp dive off a cliff with this latest chapter. The author decided the best way for her to repent for placing a black mark on one kids record was to have her sell herself in a public restroom.

It’s one of the most half handled dives into sexual themes I’ve ever seen. In no way was there anything close to this leading up to this point. The author pulls out revenge porn he has on the mc and uses it as a stepping stone for this story beat. Whether this was a shock attempt to grab more audience members or his genuine attempt to explore sexual abuse, it’s pathetic. It puts to shame any form of interest that I will ever have in this manga.

I do not recommend that anyone reads this manga. If you are really interested in it, read the first 40 or so chapters and head canon your own ending. I can guarantee you will come up with one better than the author can.

I was on chapter 20 and decided to watch chapter 46 and I must say that thank goodness I did, although the chick deserved to suffer, who should get revenge should be the MC, this thing about blackmail and prostituting her by the blond is disgusting 0 revenge.

Luckily I decided to watch chapter 46 so I can give it the drop now and not read another 26 chapters to get to this, I don't recommend it to anyone either.

Who was on the verge of turning into an incel by reading this funked up manga, gain back my rationality. After 46, I would not dream that situation on my worse enemies. I hope that the mangaka also regain his rationality. I have read more ducked up mangas than this, but for some reason this one gave me the feeling of wanting to kidnap the blackmailers and SA harassers and torture them slowly and painfully, get them to forget the pain and do the torture all over again.

How the fuck do you need 13 years to realize that you are in abusive relationship. And the next day, our MC is straight from zero to hero in a blink of an eye. It so unnatural and feels so made up.

Yeahh, this is supposed to be some zero to hero kind of story, where the Mc is one-sidedly being abused and once he's fed up and becomes free becomes a much better person... But honestly what really messes with my head is how this actually came to be. The truth is the Mc created this monster by always doing what she said. It's shown that he's always been uncomfortable with her behavior but just decides to go along with it for 13 years. It genuinely doesn't make any sense. Does he not have parents to tell him to stop being bullied? It's clear as day that her behavior is wrong but he continously enabled it. This isn't some feel good story, it's a story about creating a monster and then vanquishing said monster for behaving the way it's been conditioned to act and see love.

This manga has been irking me since the first chapter, seeing as the Mc enabling her treatment allowed her to develop such a terrible character. I figured that after breaking her heart by telling her how he actually feels would be the point for her to have some actual character development. But seeing chapter 46 was the nail in the coffin for me, the author took it too far in my opinion, I don't even want to waste another second reading it.
