As expected of an art form that attracts young people, there are an awful lot of immature opinions on this topic. Youth sees things in black and white, while maturity allows us to see shades of grey. The first thing to consider is that evil is a perception. You judge something based on your experiences, but for someone else, they will see the same thing totally differently. Very few people see themselves as evil. Most people see themselves as the hero of their own story and can justify their actions without thinking they have done anything wrong, let alone anything evil. You also can't fall into the trap of judging someone else based on very limited information. What was Hanabi's upbringing like? Does she come from a broken or abusive home? There can be many reasons why someone should be understood (not excused).

You guys don't get it. This is just author's way of redeeming Hanabi.. by shifting all the hate to the guy. George Droyd already said it, 'Nothing ever happens'. She’s gonna get saved somehow, and everyone’s finally gonna see just how much of a piece of shit that guy really is. The drama is what keeps this manga afloat, we ain't gonna see MC be all lovey dovey with his new gf in peace anytime soon.

Ok, I am with everyone else, she doesn't deserve the rape, I think our boy come and rescue her and teach this bastard a lesson. On second thought, that video is disgusting, she might deserve it.
Thanks for the chapter.
