We have 1 of 3 options

1. He'd his childhood friend (most likely because she's the main girl)
2. We'd have an open ending (just as likely as main girl route)
3. He'd go for the secondary girl (not a 100% impossible route, but least likely)

These are basically the same options in any love triangle series.

It was always going to these routes and nothing changed

Then the most sad line ever "...I thought she might be put off by me worrying about her". Fucking hell Aida has had his whole personality crushed, it's an abusive relationship, there was a little cuteness in the first few issues but the level of Gaslighting Tomeo is doing is fucking monstrous, she is a villain through and through and the author is doing a great job of making me despise her.

Both Koiwai and Aida have to hide being compassionate because "Tomoe would get mad". Tomoe is such a gaslighting bitch, Koiwai even thinks she's a compassionate, kind, loving person (but she just wanted to keep her away from Aida), all her motivation was selfish. Just to keep a person under her thumb, no one can pay attention to anyone but her! I have not hated a character this much in a while, and the glimpses of humanity she shows are then thrown out the window by a random act of anger when Aida starts to smile. She is a monster

Darn it I called it way back in earlier chaps that Kowai was gonna have a sad sick girl story.

Her way of behaving seemed way too much like someone who does not want to get too attached to the world cause she thinks she may not live a long life.

Kiyoka's thoughts on childhood friends are accurate! Don't be sad you never got to see it happen, be glad you can see it in action no! The thoughts she gets that childhood friends visiting can be a bit annoying when sick is relatable. I can't exactly talk with you guys while I'm sick, you know!

Shunsuke couldn't even text Kiyoka and say he was worried, he had to pretend to be Hinaki. That's definitely gonna backfire on him. He should really stick to being honest! Kiyoka would appreciate the concern, since she was mostly friendless before this.
