Domorte was the lich & primary character focus of volume 4, and her arc had its climax in chapter 22, before the party moved onto what lead to this current arc starting with 23.

No doubt the slaver who will be exposed to the Crown as not only an illegal slave trader, but also the mastermind behind an attempt to eradicate a noble ducal line, resulting in the death of the reigning family head, amongst others, can argue in court that at least the contract which was not signed should be honoured...

And, from what I recall, she’s the former master of who is likely the main antagonist of this manga so far.

I didn't go back over those earlier chapters well enough to parse that much, but she was at least the antagonist of that volume and did pull off a vanishing act at the end of it.
