I'm positive the Author made this out of boredom, because I can't picture how someone can write such a soulless story.

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and go a bit further beyond the chapter where the MC beats the slave elf effortlessly, because some guy said it does get better later on (that same guy gave one of the best reviews I've ever read so I feel like trusting his insight).

So far though, I've been successfully predicting most of the next pages along with some eye-rolls, it is generic but not in a good way.

Being honest, so far I hate the MC as much as I hate his party members, of course I hate the Hero more but MC's decisions have been making me tweak a lot and even more than the assholes of his party.

Can we talk about how Emi broke down crying in relief when the healer was brought back by the first guy she betrayed, Like isn't that a kick to the balls even more when she abandoned him? She's so absolutely relieved the healer lived but just feels bad about the guy, she genuinely feels like a horrible person who is hiding behind this woe is me act.

Damn, this series sucks. 1/10. It literally has nothing going for it at all.

It's almost impressive how irredeemably awful this is.


edit: Wow 45 people gave this series a 10 star rating. What the hell. I get that taste is subjective, but c'mon I dont think anyone who has actually read this can say that this is a masterpiece in any way.

I have to assume they only read up through chapter 2 and rated it 10 because Fenrir is a very good dog.

Former hero/murderer: light punishment, feels like a prize instead.

This whole manga: waste of time.

this is literally a worse version of campfire cooking. mc with taming abilities and blessing from the god tames a fenrir, able to cook and provide for it while it protects him. learns op magic immediately and tames more beast. -.- ts sad

I actually like the story once it gets past the “kicked out of party” arc. The author should have just started out with having him met the elf girl, as the “harem members” get more interesting as you go along, I especially like the Litch girl who gets intertwined in the story nicely.

The former hero got put onto prison, how was that light? Pretty sure his old group didn’t end up better off either, they got demoted and no one wants to work with them. Besides, they have little to do with the story outside the first arc anyways.
