Author: So, I'll take this story about a guy with zero personality getting a bunch of girls; then kick the guy out of the story and replace him with a girl with zero personality.

... ... ...

That's not much of an improvement.

lmao fr.

So far, there's lot of hypocrisy in this manga, but I guess we'll just have to let the author cook.

Bro that’s a pretty wild take away for chapter 1
What "take away"? It's right there in the synopsis and the text.

Synopsis
Yukitsuki Mashiro has been reincarnated into the world of a dating game. She decides to live an inconspicuous life as one of the heroines, "Amatsuki Suzuna," but after she helps "Hinase Riri" who is being harassed by a man in the downtown area, she becomes the target of love. What will become of Suzuna, who is surrounded by more and more heroines as everything she does goes wrong...?!

Then in the first chapter. New-MC lows off the old-MC going home with her. (GG!) But that results in her having the encounter that he was supposed to have (and thus getting the first love interest). New-MC then recognizes that she is taking the place of the MC. And given the synopsis, this sort of thing seems likely to keep happening.

And she's scrawny, asocial, with no personality, apparently unblessed enough in her previous life to commit suicide (and then not tell us about it). I.e. zero personality.

So it's just like the original story (which she complains about): A zero personality, zero drive person who then has a harem drop in his lap. Only difference is that the sex of the MC has changed.

Idk about this MC, she seems like she's trying TOO hard to be aloof and remove herself... I wonder why she played KanoAma if she didn't like the MC or the heroines...

To be honest it's kinda creepy if a friend you have known since childhood changes so much out of nowhere and suddenly all your nice gestures to them are wrong. MC should just explain to the guy that she is a different person now.

I wonder how many ppl would believe that, other then like “I have DID now” , saying “I’ve transmigrated” unless they’re an otaku now would make one sound like a chuuni I’d imagine, if not freaking one out to learn that they’re just a game chara

If I had a nickel for every time an FMC named Mashiro in a Yuri manga, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

I just finished the web novel. I have so many feelings. It's an amazing roller coaster ride.

First, the otome mc... you can feel some pity, but he kinda sucks. He treated Suzuna like a second mom. He took advantage of her. Suzuna allowed it, though. He needs to grow up and be something better.
First, the manga starts with the suicide, but that's not revealed until far later. It's an interesting change, for sure. It recontextualizes a lot of the early story.
"Is it a harem"; depends on definition. There are multiple girls who are very interested in her, but it is quickly obvious who is end game. But if you enjoy tropes of the genre you'll see some of it.
"I feel sorry for him", doofus, the name I used when explaining the story to my wife, is kinda trash. Near incel. He's a problem. Yeah, he's not malicious, but he never learns.
"She's got no character" it's on purpose; it's both commentary and plot relevant.
"Isn't it hypocritical..." yes. At times, MC will be much like doofus. I think this is intentional. Irony, perhaps. Unless you mean Riri, who seems to not respect consent, yet is rescued from her own harassment. This doesn't ruin things for me but I'm frustrated that it feels the author wasn't aware? Consent is going to be played with fast and loose... and not how you expect. Just uh... something to chew on.
