Agreed, it fits into a broader trope where MC feels like smth is contriving to make things worse for them, so they act in ways that actually work towards that. Misunderstanding compounded with incompetence? I'm not sure, but it bugs me all the same. I hope this manga doesn't fall into that and just let the interactions between glasses and gyaru become more organic.God, the setting with “I have to help the protagonist get girls because I just thought of a ridiculous scenario where I'm made to be with him otherwise” feels INCREDIBLY forced. The theory also doesn't make any sense. If that “coercive game power” really existed, she wouldn't have fallen out of love with Minato in the first place. But of course, she conveniently ignores that fact.
I thought I'd really enjoy this title after reading the synopsis, but I see that the author just fucking HAD to insert the most annoying tropes to prevent that.
